PSV Compliance and Training Group
Privacy notice
Updated 7 November 2026 · Version psvct-2026-11-07
I’m Neil. This notice explains how the group website handles your information when you browse or send me an enquiry.
Who is responsible
PSV Compliance and Training Limited is responsible for the information collected through this group website. Company number 14891261; registered office: First Floor Office, 44 Bath Hill, Keynsham, BS31 1HG. You can contact me using the website forms, email info@psv-ct.co.uk, or write to that address. Please say if your message concerns your personal information.
myCPC Training Ltd is a separate company within the group and the seller of myCPC Driver CPC training. If your enquiry leads to a training booking, its training privacy notice explains the booking and course records.
What I collect and why
- Enquiry details: your name, email, optional phone and company, enquiry category and message. I use these to respond, discuss your needs and keep track of the conversation.
- Enquiry records: submission date, the privacy-notice version and relevant correspondence, so I can follow up and keep a record of what we agreed.
- Technical information: the hosting and security services process information such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs to deliver and protect the website and filter spam.
Your name, email and message are needed for the website forms. The other contact fields are optional. If you do not provide enough information, I may be unable to answer or arrange the service you ask for. Please do not include payment-card details, identity-document copies or detailed medical information. If you need learning or accessibility support, tell me what practical help you need and we can discuss it privately.
Why we may use this information
Where you are considering a service for yourself, we use information necessary to take steps you request before a contract and, where relevant, perform that contract. For business representatives, general enquiries, follow-up and website security, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to requests, running the business and preventing misuse, balanced against your rights. We also keep information where a legal obligation requires it.
Your right to object
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact me using the details above and explain your circumstances. We will consider your request and stop unless there is a lawful reason to continue.
Who receives the information
- Netlify: hosts the website, processes its enquiry forms and provides server-log Web Analytics on the live site, alongside security and spam handling.
- Google Workspace: hosts our email addresses ending in psv-ct.co.uk and psvcompliance.co.uk, including related correspondence storage.
- People handling your request: access is limited to those who need the information to respond or provide the service. Where you request Driver CPC training, necessary details may be passed to myCPC Training Ltd to handle that request.
- Professional advisers and public authorities: only where necessary for advice, a legal duty or a legal claim.
We do not sell your information. A general enquiry does not sign you up to a newsletter or promotional mailing list.
Information processed outside the UK
Netlify and Google use international infrastructure and subprocessors, so information may be processed outside the UK. Their data-processing terms provide transfer protections, including applicable adequacy arrangements or contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses with UK provisions. You can contact me for information about the safeguards applicable to our processing and how to obtain a copy.
How long we keep information
For enquiries that do not become customers, we delete the enquiry and associated correspondence 12 months after the last contact, unless a specific legal obligation or a legal claim requires longer retention. This applies to working copies in the form service, email and any enquiry tracker. Copies in routine backups expire through the backup retention cycle and are not kept for ordinary use.
If an enquiry becomes a customer relationship, relevant correspondence becomes part of the service record and is retained for that service, its accounting obligations and any necessary claims period. The applicable service privacy information explains those records. We keep a minimal record of any objection or restriction where needed to respect it.
Your other rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy. Where we rely on consent for a separate activity, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful use. We do not use the group enquiry forms to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact me. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies, display choices and other websites
The live group website uses Netlify Web Analytics to understand visits and improve the website. Web Analytics uses hosting server logs to report page views, visitor counts, referring sources, locations, missing resources and bandwidth. Server processing involves technical request information such as IP addresses. Netlify Web Analytics does not require cookies or an analytics script in your browser. Real User Monitoring is disabled. We do not add advertising cookies or embed social-media tracking.
The cookie and accessibility panel is available on every page. Its optional browser-storage preference is separate from Netlify’s monitoring: rejecting non-essential storage, closing the panel or disabling JavaScript does not switch off server-log analytics. No additional browser analytics storage is currently installed on the group site. Before adding any, I will explain its use and ask for a new choice. See how Netlify Web Analytics works for provider details.
We use local storage on your device, rather than a preference cookie, to remember your choices: psvct:consent records the preference version, analytics choice and decision date; psvct:view-mode remembers Standard, High contrast or Easy read; and psvct:font remembers your font choice. The cookie choice is checked for expiry after 180 days and you are asked again. Display settings remain until you change them or clear this site’s browser data. These records stay in your browser and are not submitted with enquiries. Display settings work independently of analytics consent. If your browser blocks storage, the controls still work for the current page but may not remember your choices.
Use the Accessibility button or Cookie and accessibility settings in the footer to reopen the panel. Choices apply to this website and browser; myCPC is a separate website and remembers its own choices. Easy read offers larger text, extra spacing and a single-column layout. Atkinson Hyperlegible is supplied from this website when selected. These options support readability but are not a guarantee that every visitor’s accessibility needs are met; use the website form if you need help.
The standard Barlow fonts still load from Google Fonts, which receives technical connection information when they load. Selecting cookie preferences does not switch off that standard font connection. Hosting security services may process technical information as described above. Links to myCPC, Facebook or other websites open services with their own privacy and cookie notices.
Changes to this notice
I will keep this notice up to date as the services change. The date and version above identify the current wording. Any future newsletter or analytics service will need its own appropriate information and choices before it is introduced.
